01 May Location Sciences – the mobile location intelligence company has launched
I’m delighted to announce the launch of Location Sciences, our mobile location intelligence business. Part of the industry-leading and AIM listed Proxama group, Location Sciences enables brands to bridge the gap between the digital and physical world. Basically, we use ultra-precise mobile location data to inform businesses how effective their products, services or advertising are.
At the heart of all this data is the mobile phone, the hub of our daily lives. And with more and more apps using location within them for consumer functionality, precise data collection has never been so abundant.
Why Location Sciences?
Quite simply, we wanted a name which would reflect the very essence of our business.
We are built on location – data that is derived from GPS technology and our established network of Bluetooth beacons. Science(s) this is the clever stuff that our proprietary tech does to create value from our data for the people we work with, whether that’s our Out of Home partners, brands or financial organisations, the insight we can share on people movement and behaviour is second to none. And I’m excited to be able to share some of this insight with you as part of this blog over the coming weeks.
The launch of Location Sciences felt like the logical next step and it’s a very exciting time for all of us.
